A Story of Family and Hospitality in Tuscany

ABOUT US

OUR STORY

It was the 1960s when Mrs. Emma, our grandmother, made a courageous decision that shaped our destiny: she purchased a piece of land from the Countess, a plot then neglected and isolated from the urban fabric. It was a tough decision, but necessary, especially after the painful fate that struck her
when she was only thirty years old with two young children to raise and give a future to.

On that land, together with her father and brother, she began building the first room that eventually turned into our home. During the summer, she rented out this room and with the help of her children Mirna and Andrea, served cold drinks and ice cream to the numerous children of the summer camps.

Over time, social changes transformed summer camps into seaside holidays, sparking the tourism evolution along the Tuscan coast. Thus, that modest room and the kiosk evolved, growing over the years, into a guesthouse, then a B&B, and finally a 3-star hotel, thanks to a complete renovation using eco-friendly building practices.

It is a story that spans more than 60 years and involves three generations of hoteliers. Each of us has also chosen different life paths, but we have dedicated ourselves to offering a hospitality that feels like home. We are here to fulfill your desire for a break and to offer you a warm welcome to our establishment.

ECO-SUSTAINABLE CHOICE

Sustainable Renewal for a Healthy Environment

Despite being 75 years old and having an emotional attachment to her and our “old” house, Mrs. Emma shared a common vision with architect Panichi, allowing for a creative synergy in the renovation of the structure.

Our eco-friendly choice is a point of pride, highlighting our commitment to respecting the environment through the use of biocompatible
materials during the renovation process. Our motto focuses on attention to energy aspects, thermal insulation, and natural ventilation. Our
strategy includes the collection of rainwater for garden irrigation and toilet flushing, the use of solar panels to convert solar energy into hot water, and the utilization of natural ventilation to promote cooling of the environment.
